SARAH KINGSTONE

Sarah's academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Education from the University of British Columbia, and now a Masters of Science in Education, Public Policy and Equity from the University of Glasgow. She is an experienced social studies and social justice teacher, as well as a rowing coach. Throughout her experience as an educator, she has also designed, facilitated, and led a number of international humanitarian service projects to engage young people with holistic and authentic relief projects in devastated communities. Most recently, Sarah's work has focused on post-conflict education for reconciliation with particular consideration of history curricula. Following graduation from her Masters, Sarah worked as a Widening Participation Tutor for the University of Glasgow. She is now based between the UK and Canada, working in educational consultancy. Her particular interests include social justice promotion, post-conflict education and the teaching of history.
