Before joining the Education, Public Policy and Equity MSc programme as a Chevening scholar, Priya previously worked in the Indian Department for Education. She completed her undergraduate degree in Ancient Indian History and after working across a number of professions found her passion for teaching. In particular, Priya is interested in the use of education policy mechanisms and hopes to move into this field upon her return to India. Her particular interests include public-private partnerships, equity and equality in education and street level bureaucracy in public policy.
