Madi received her undergraduate degree in Middle Grades Education at the College of Charleston, specialising in Math and Social Studies and taught middle school Math for five years in Title I schools in Charleston, South Carolina. Madi is a current MSc student on the Education, Public Policy, and Equity programme at the University of Glasgow. She is active within the School of Education, serving as the SRC class representative for EPPE, running the EPPE Twitter (@uofgeppe) and Instagram (@uofg_eppe) accounts as an e-mentor, and is a member of the Student Social Committee. Her interests include teacher retention, education equity, and teacher training.
