United Kingdom - EPPE Cohort 2020-21
Due to commence the MSc EPPE in September 2020, Katy completed her bachelor’s degree at The University of Edinburgh in Social Policy and Politics. Her bachelor’s dissertation revolved around the Curriculum for Excellence and she is particularly keen to gain experience of putting theory into practice by delivering the curriculum to pupils. Katy has previously volunteered with the Lothian Equal Access Programme for Schools (LEAPS) where her key responsibility was to inform junior high school students about the functions and the importance of university and what to expect upon arrival. Katy's research interests include curriculum development, active learning pedagogy and teacher training.
