After graduating with a Law degree from the University of Glasgow in 2016, Ellen worked as a volunteer in schools in both Scotland and Australia. She completed the MSc Education, Public Policy and Equity as part of the 2017-18 cohort. Following on from Masters study, she is currently completing a PGDE in Primary Education at the University of Glasgow, hoping to gain more experience in schools before returning to the field of policy in the future. Ellen's particular interests lie in teacher training, widening participation and the education of asylum seeker and refugee pupils.
