DR FRAÑO PAUKNER NOGUES

Associate Professor/Researcher, Universidad Catolica del Maule (Chile)

Professor Paukner holds a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from Universidad Catolica de Valparaíso (Chile), a Master's (MA) in Philosophy of Education from The University of Iowa (USA) (under the Fulbright-Lascau scholarship award) and a PhD in Curricular Design and Educational Assessment from Universidad de Valladolid (Spain).  He is currently Associate Professor and Researcher at the Faculty of Education in Universidad Catolica del Maule, located in the south of Chile. Fraño has experience working in both national and international contexts, undertaking advisory work and presenting in schools, universities, municipalities and educational institutions across Chile, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Nicaragua and Guatemala.  He is particularly interested in the philosophy of education, participatory action research, education reform, primary and secondary education development, teacher professional development and education research. Dr Paukner is currently supporting EPPE Network as a Mentor for the EPPE_Lab programme in Latin America.
