Policy Officer - Scottish Government

Clara currently works as a Policy Officer at The Scottish Government, working on fair access to higher education and other equalities and student wellbeing issues. Prior to this, Clara conducted research on social policy and tackling poverty and inequality for the Scottish Poverty & Inequality Research Unit at Glasgow Caledonian University and Children’s Neighbourhoods Scotland. She has also worked in Higher Education widening participation and student recruitment at the universities of Edinburgh and Glasgow. She holds an MA (Hons) in French & English Literature from the University of Edinburgh. Clara's interests include widening access to further and higher education, socioeconomic inequalities, and refugee and migrant rights.
